Come to the Fanzone at PPG Canalside ahead of the Reading match

Come to Huddersfield Town's fanzone, sponsored by Perry's Vauxhall, at PPG Canalside ahead of the Reading match on Tuesday 21 February!

The proceedings include Boothy's Beer and Banter from 5.30pm until 6.30pm, which this week will be hosted by Commercial Manager for Partnerships, John Williams.

He will be joined on stage by Steve Weaver, the Club’s Academy Manager, Professional Development Coach Leigh Bromby and Head of Academy Coaching Tony Carss to give fans a greater insight into the recent changes in the Academy.

They will also be able to answer questions put to them by Huddersfield Town fans ahead of this Tuesday night’s match against Reading in the Sky Bet Championship. 

The Club's heated outside bar, provided by Universal Beers, will be open at 5pm and special refill cups will be available for Huddersfield Town fans to purchase, which will help speed up service ahead of Town’s Sky Bet Championship game; the souvenir cups can be purchase for just £1 by Town supporters with a beer or for just £2 on their own. 

The heated bar under a marquee will be available for people aged over-18, serving the Club’s Official Beer Hat-trick, which was brewed by Club Partner Magic Rock; available for just £2.60. 

A variety of other drinks will be available in the outside bar under the heated marquee, provided by Holmes Valley Marquees, so fans can start their match day in the right way! 

An extra bar has been included so it is quicker and easier for fans to get served before heading to the John Smith’s Stadium.

The fanzone activities for supporters of all ages, will begin from 5pm so make sure you come to the Club’s PPG Canalside Training Ground ahead of the Reading match! 

Fans of all ages will be able to show off their skills once again and take control of the likes of Lionel Messi and Elias Kachunga on FIFA 17 (above). A games arena is available during the fanzone, kindly provided by GAME, so fans can start their match day in the right way. At the fanzone against Man City, Sean Scannell showed off some of his skills when he played on FIFA against some younger supporters.

That’s not all! We have a series of challenges and games our younger fans can take part in. The youngsters will be able to find out how hard their shot is and be able to test their skills by kicking balls through targets at PPG Canalside. These games are more have been provided by Globe Game Sports and will help excite the young Terriers before they make the short walk to the John Smith’s Stadium. 

Sponsors of the brand new fanzone, Perrys Vauxhall are also bringing some of their new cars down for supporters to see. 

Food is also available at PPG Canalside, including a full match day menu and BBQ, from 5pm.
